We took a really fun field trip to the Pepsi Coliseum to see the Murat Shrine Circus. We packed up and left about 8:50 which helped us get front row seats! The students brought their own lunches and were able to enjoy these while they watched the circus.
Some of the acts included tiger stunts, jugglers, quick change, motorcycles inside a metal cage, trapeze act, elephants, clowns, and many more.
After the circus, we talked about our favorite parts. The students really couldn't decide which was their favorite. It seemed like they had 4 or 5 favorite parts. I really enjoyed seeing their faces when they were there. They kept saying, "Whoa! Wow! Mrs. Clouse, did you see that?!?" It is so wonderful that our students are able to enjoy these types of acts. The Shriners allow school groups to attend free of charge. Thanks to them, we were able to go and only pay for the bus ride!
